I remember it clearly. I was sitting in the playground – I must have been 8 or 9 – when a strong gust of wind blew me backward and made my hair dance wildly around me. It took my breath away and I couldn’t help but smile and laugh as though I were being squeezed by a good friend. I felt this loving presence and a warmth rise up from inside of me as I was sitting there being teased by the wind. I felt a connection at that moment to the wind, to the divine energy within myself, to the universe as a whole – I knew it was magick. This is my earliest memory of my experience with magick, and it is the moment I knew, deep down, that I was a witch.

Flash forward – I’m now 29, and life is beyond what I could have imagined back then.

First, I have the honor of being the mother of three incredibly handsome and amazing sons. Fun fact, my sons’ names each correspond to an element (water, fire, and earth), and their elements fit them each perfectly. Hi magick, thank you for the foresight!

I am blissfully married to my soulmate, a man worthy of all the praise I could offer. I still can’t believe how incredibly lucky I am to have crossed paths with such a beautiful human, not to mention that I get to share my life with him. I thank the perfect alchemy that aligned the stars and sent my husband and kids to me every day.

I am also the owner of Rune & Relic – my online house of magical creations and wares. I’m a modern witch who was born and raised in San Francisco and currently resides in the majestic mountains of Arizona.

This life is a dream, and my 8-year-old self is applauding me right now.

My journey as a witch has been a private and personal one for the majority of my life. It was only a short while ago that I decided to bring some of my magick online and to open Rune & Relic, which has been extremely successful thanks to the beautiful community of souls we have built. As my store and my social media followings began to grow, and as people started coming to me more and more with questions about the craft, I knew there was a need for me to start a blog so I could share more and be of more service to those who are drawn here.

I remember for me, it was difficult to find information when I began my journey into witchcraft. I had so many questions and no one to ask. I have done a lot of research, performed a lot of spells, tried just about everything one can try as a witch, and I want to help others with what I have learned. Knowledge doesn’t do the world any good if you keep it locked away in your mind, and I if sharing what I know can help others, then that’s what I want to be doing. So here I am, and here is the Rune & Relic blog, where I will share as much as I possibly can to help anyone who cares to listen along on their own personal journey to self-discovery, empowerment, and magick.

I am grateful that you were guided here today to read this. Thank you for taking the time. Please sign up for updates so I can notify you every time I have a new post up. I’ll be posting at least once a week.

Sending blessings – until next time.

Trish

This is so exciting to hear that you are starting a blog! I’ve recently started a new journey in life to self discovery and enlightenment. I also just moved from my hometown to a completely different city knowing no one but my husband and daughter. Therefore my mentor is far away from me and I’m learning as I go right now. I can’t wait to read your blogs and learn as I go through this transformation and have the confidence to keep going! Your going to be amazing at this! ✨

I’m very happy for your success. I’m on my path now and reading books about Aleister Crowley and the Kabbalah. I can’t wait to get to the practical application. I hope you can help guide me on the journey. Salute.
